WHAT YOU'LL DO (including but not limited to):
Participates in creation, documentation, maintenance and support of parametric design solutions to enable more efficient customer order processing.
Resolves design issues for in-process manufacturing orders, with primary focus on machine guarding issues. Participation in additional issue areas as time allows.
Recommend and assist in implementing efficient and easily maintainable configuration solutions.
Utilize existing data and rules wherever possible.
Create assigned product design models/configurators using SolidWorks and/or DriveWorks.
Validation of new configuration models before putting into service
Assist to troubleshoot, validate and maintain all related programs and applications.
Work closely with CAD automation and other engineering systems groups.
Address basic issues, problems and questions on a day-to-day basis.
Support development of scope documents pertaining to Engineering Automation and business solutions.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required (Preferably Mechanical or Agricultural)
Skilled in SolidWorks with a minimum of Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) certification within the last 3 years of the most recent software release.
Design experience with sheet metal fabrication.
Excellent visualization and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills.
Working knowledge of computer systems, engineering, and drafting systems and procedures.
Ability to independently perform assignments with instruction only regarding general expected results.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Standard office environment with regular activities on the manufacturing floor.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, reach.
Ability to work extended hours sitting at a computer.
