Design Assistant - Temporary

Pay Range: $22.00-$25.00

Stanford Hotels is seeking a Temporary Design Assistant or Intern to join their team!

The Temporary Design Assistant will support the Director of Lighting Design on upcoming design projects. The ideal candidate is collaborative, pro-active, self-motivated, positive, enthusiastic, energetic and willing to learn new things.

This position is located at the Stanford Hotels Corporate Office in San Francisco. Hours are 8:30-5:30pm Monday-Friday.

JOB DUTIES:

• Perform administrative tasks:

• Prepare Microsoft Word/Excel documents

• Generate and edit PDF documents

• Prepare and format PowerPoint Presentation

• Prepare and format Purchase Order

• Conduct and document Product Shipment Tracking Status

• Research lighting products for specific project application (if needed)

• Work with lighting manufacturers on product specifications and price quote inquiry (if needed)

• Perform drafting in AutoCAD (if needed)

• Prepare rendering in SketchUp (if needed)

• Prepare rendering in Enscape (if needed)

• Edit documents in Adobe Photoshop (if needed)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Entry Level (Temp Position)

• Fluent in Microsoft

• Word

• Excel Spreadsheet

• PowerPoint

• Fluent in AutoCAD 2021 or newer

• Fluent in software:

• SketchUp

• Enscape

• Photoshop

• Must be U.S. Resident or U.S. Citizen
