Team Lead for a seven personnel contract supporting the Air Maneuver Battle Lab, where Army Aviation Concepts are tested and evaluated within the Army and Joint Functional Concepts. Responsible for all personnel actions to include hiring, counseling, training, mentoring, and developing skills and capabilities. Acts as a single point of contact for senior-level Government clients. Responsible for the overall quality of contract delivery, including management of specific customer performance objectives and deliverable items. Provide field-grade level Subject Matter Expertise in Army aviation tactics, techniques, procedures, and employment during combined arms and joint operations. Provide planning experience/expertise for events such as an annual experimentation plan, major experiments or experiment series comprised of multiple events, ie workshops, Major Event List (MEL) development, and After Action Reviews (AAR). May work flexible hours during constructive and live experimentation. Reports directly to the Fort Rucker S3 Director.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree with 15 years of relevant experience

  • Must have served in a Brigade or higher level staff position

  • Must have participated in or lead a Map Exercise (MAPEX), Computer-Assisted Map Exercise (CAMEX), Simulated Experiments (SIMEX), Gaming Experiments (GAMEX), Seminar Wargame (SWG)

  • Must have Army Aviation operational experience in the last 10 years

  • Must have knowledge of Army and Joint Functional Concepts

  • Must have experience synchronizing requirements, resources, and capabilities in contract/task order execution

  • Must have managed a complex project in support of customer objectives and deliverable items

  • Must have a current Secret security clearance

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in Advanced Tactical Combat Model (ATCOM) software

  • Involved in Army Aviation Concept development in the last five years

Proficient in project management, and typically a task lead overseeing one or more staff. May perform a variety of supervisory duties such as assigning work schedules to staff, interpreting policies and procedures for employees and maintaining various reports. May direct operations to prepare and ensure client reports are in accordance with standards.

VIEW JOBS 8/17/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-15T00:00 Job Description Description Relocation Assistance available for Qualified Candidates with an Active Secret clearance This position is in Vicksburg, MS Description: In support of the High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) Integrated Technical Services (HITS) task order contract, Team SAIC provides program management and technical support necessary to advance the services, capabilities, infrastructure, and technologies in the HPCMP, Department of Defense (DoD) Supercomputing Resource Centers (DSRC) supercomputing centers. Team SAIC is looking for a Storage System Administrator who will help support the daily administration of storage environment across a diverse set of applications utilizing HSM (hierarchical storage manager) management software. This includes general storage administration tasks, storage software and hardware support, storage device configuration, support of daily backups, monitoring of storage devices, storage performance tuning and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will support mass storage archive needs in an environment consisting of standalone, virtual machine, and large scale High Performance Computing (HPC) cluster based systems. Qualifications Education and Experience: * Bachelors and three (3) years or more experience or additional experience in lieu of degree * Currently process or have the ability to obtain a DoD 8570 certification is required, i.e. Security+ and a OS certification such as Linux+, RedHat, etc Clearance Requirements: * Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance Skills and Abilities: * General understanding of Storage environments such as IBM Elastic Storage Server (ESS), Seagate, LSI, or Oracle storage systems, Oracle large scale tape libraries and Enterprise class tape drives, as well as Brocade Fiber Channel switches. * General knowledge of Linux and Unix operating systems concepts * Solaris skills, as that OS hosts the SAMQFS filesystem. * Experience and understanding in enterprise backup and data protection technologies * Tape library and drive storage experience * Experience working with Tape Backup or long-term Archive Software * Excellent customer interaction skills including written and verbal communication * Team oriented individual capable of multi-tasking in a dynamic, demanding environment * Organizational skills to balance and prioritize work in a dynamic work environment, and persistence to follow-through on tasks * Ability to provide clear documentation on system administration procedures for routine and complex tasks. Desired Skills: * Systems and/or storage administration experience * Experience working with HPC cluster and storage architectures * Knowledge of Information Assurance (IA) controls, STIG viewer, Radix, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) * Some prior experience in SAN Fabric Administration including zoning, LUN security, and HBA configuration and troubleshooting * Knowledge of IBM GPFS storage system, and its support and admin maintenance * NAS (object) and SAN (block) storage experience * Security implementations using multi-factor authentication, PKI, or Kerberos and Unix OS hardening to DoD STIG standards.
