Dermatology Technician I - Marshfield
Scheduled Weekly Hours:
8-hour day shifts, variable days (United States of America)
The Dermatology Technician I functions as a member of the healthcare team by providing clinical and technical support to assist providers in providing for patients' care, comfort, and safety. The individual will complete basic procedures as requested by the provider and will assist providers with procedures. The Dermatology Technician I performs in a manner consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health Systems' mission, policies, and initiatives while maintaining patient confidentiality.

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Required Education: Graduate of a medical assistant, licensed practical nurse, registered nurse or surgical technologist program.
Minimum Experience Required: Working knowledge of medical terminology.
Preferred/Optional Experience: Dermatology experience in healthcare.
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position, which must be maintained in good standing:
Minimum Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire and one of the following:
Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification awarded by the American Medical Technologists (AMT) or
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification awarded by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or
Surgical Technologist certification awarded by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license awarded by the State of Wisconsin
