ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Deputy Service Strategy Lead to join our team at Reston, VA area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech. The Deputy Service Strategy Lead will support the Continuous Diagnostics & Mitigation (CDM) Program. It is a high-profile, high-visibility, cybersecurity modernization and risk management program where you can contribute innovative solutions and consult with many different federal agencies to enhance their Information Assurance (IA) programs and continuous monitoring capabilities.

The qualified applicant will support organizational development, strategic planning, service delivery, and portfolio and resource management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the key value drivers and industry dynamics of the cyber and government service sectors. She or he will support Service Strategy's core purpose to achieve profitable growth through the development and execution of business strategies and defining the plans and processes to deliver services to support program execution and meet the requirements of the contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Service Strategy Lead in developing and defining the broader program service delivery strategy

  • Assist the Service Strategy leadership team by working on a range of critical projects and issues

  • Support the planning and monitoring of day-to-day business operations to ensure smooth progress and efficiencies

  • Evaluate the current project management office and service delivery processes and procedures and provide recommendations for improvement

  • Evaluate current infrastructure tools and systems used in support of the Program and provide recommendations for improvement to maximize program efficiencies

  • Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics

  • Effectively implement approved recommendations to enhance service delivery, portfolio and resource management, risk management, governance, quality assurance, etc.

  • Support ongoing recruiting, resource, and functional management needs to ensure high employee satisfaction levels and enable the program to effectively execute in support of the client's mission and contract requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in technical or business discipline and 10 or more years of combined experience with government services

  • Experience performing strategic planning

  • Ability to effectively interface at executive levels (with clients and corporate leadership)

  • Strong background in consulting and client services

  • Self-starter with a bias for action

  • Able to execute effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Exceptional analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work across different levels of organization

  • Demonstrated experience to influence and build consensus

  • Extensive experience developing executive briefings and presenting to executive leadership teams

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

JOB DESCRIPTION Our Aerospace, Technology and Nuclear (ATN) line of business has an immediate need for a Sales Strategy Lead for our Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity pipeline. This position reports to the ATN Growth and Sales Strategy Director for Cyber and partners with operations leaders to profitably grow Jacobs' OT cybersecurity business with a focus on Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Internet of Things (IoT), and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) embedded within client operations across the commercial sector. The core function of this position is to direct, plan, and implement sales, pricing, and/or sales support strategies in alignment with the ATN business plan. Core Duties and Responsibilities * Develops, nurtures, and manages OT cybersecurity sales pipeline to meet growth objectives. Maintains sales forecasts and partners with senior leadership to determine pipeline requirements for sustained organizational growth. * Conducts research and analysis of business opportunities within identified target market(s). * Develops business plans and strategies and evaluates results. * Provides senior leadership, critical subject matter expertise, or unique qualifications key to sales initiatives and frequently serves as the final authority in field of specialty. Applies technical proficiency to drive thought leadership in public forums with business and technical leaders through selected speaking engagements and involvement in key industry events. * Partners with operational SMEs to research and drive new security solutions for pre-sales engineering to address client challenges. Maintains rich understanding of threat landscape of network-connected OT technologies. * Generates over 50% of new business through collaboration with Jacobs' Buildings, Infrastructure, and Advanced Facilities (BIAF) line of business and cultivation of cross-selling opportunities with existing accounts, working closely with Client Account Managers and delivery managers to effectively manage customer relationships, business outcomes, and affect sales. * Assesses competition and potential markets by analyzing growth strategies. * May serve as capture manager with responsibility for capture strategy, proposal preparation, submittal, and/or implementation upon award. Effectively engages with operational and sales resources, channel management, and marketing to develop and deliver requisite sales products. * Creates or approves value propositions that enhance Jacobs' competitive position and achieve client objectives. * Generates and fosters positive client relationships, including developing and executing a focused Client Engagement Plan. * Recommends, reviews, and approves policies and procedures for area of responsibility and/or application across ATN. * Provides professional and technically sound programs that accomplish work objectives, satisfy clients' requirements, and fall within overall constraints for resources. * May serve as an advisor on major projects and programs. * Serves as an official company representative to clients. * Leads implementation of quality, safety, and BeyondZero program in area of responsibility to promote an incident- and injury-free culture. * Education and Experience: BS/BA degree and eight (8) years related experience, of which at least three (3) years attributed to extensive OT consulting and technical field services sales. Possession of Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), or related cybersecurity certification is strongly desired. * Technical: Capability in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce. Demonstrated leadership skills as evidenced by prior supervisory experience. * Language: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (and other languages, as applicable). * Other: Work may be required after hours and on weekends, and sometimes on short notice. Must be willing and able to travel up to 75%. Essential Functions Physical Requirements of Position: Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require filing, typing, and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, included but not limited to: bending, reaching, turning, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required. Work Environment: Generally an office environment but can involve inside or outside work depending on task. An inside environment may be a cubicle (considerations: close quarters, low to moderate noise, bright or dim lighting). Outside work may include various environmental conditions including warm and cold climates. Needs to be able to work well with co-workers, customer, and all levels of management. No hazards on job or unusual environmental conditions. Equipment and Machines: Ability to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, fax machine and other equipment including desk supplies and other work-related tools as required. Attendance: Regular hours will be Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important, but not critical, except for deadlines and meetings. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines. Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements. With exception of approved leave and holidays, attendance is mandatory. The QM shall be on-site during the Government's regular working hours and shall be available on-site within two hours after the Government's request after regular hours. Overtime may be required. Position or alternate shall be available on-site within one hour of customer's request. Other Essential Functions: Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management, and co-workers. Must have clear, concise, and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner. Independent personal transportation to office or work site is required. Travel to and from customer's locations and the test fields may be required to support projects. This may involve airline travel. In some cases, accommodations can possibly be made for POV, if necessary. When operating any vehicle for work purposes, must wear seat belt and in addition, no cellular devices are to be used when vehicle is in motion. Must take and pass a drug test and background check.
