Deputy Program Manager

Overview

The Deputy Program Manager position will assist in the planning, direction, control and overall management and operational functions specified within the contract. The DPM shall provide the necessary level of contract management and administrative oversight to achieve the quantitative and qualitative requirements of this contract. The DPM shall ensure contract requirements are executed at a level equal to or higher than stated standards and shall strive for complete customer satisfaction with all customers. The DPM is expected to establish and maintain effective customer relationships with the goal of maintaining a mutually beneficial business relationship with the Government. The DPM shall possess highly developed interpersonal, analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills and demonstrate the ability to manage in a diverse and dynamic environment with short-notice taskings under high pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• The DPM in the absence of the PM, shall be fully responsible for the overall performance of the contract.

• The DPM shall be the Contractor's authorized representative for the contractual, technical, and administrative performance of all services required under this contract, in the absence of the PM.

• The DPM shall be the secondary point through which communications, work assignments, and technical direction flow between the Government and the Contractor.

• The DPM shall be available within one (1) hour during normal business hours to meet on-site with the COR or designated representative(s).

• After normal working hours, the DPM shall be available within two hours, after notification, to meet on-site with the COR or designated representative(s).

Qualifications

The DPM shall possess, as a minimum:

• Bachelor's Degree in Facility Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Structural), or other related field.
• 10 years' experience managing all aspects of building operations; 7 years of which shall have been with a contract of similar size and scope.

Demonstrated experience with:

• Managing LEED certified facilities

• Operations in U.S. Government facilities

• Development, maintenance, and reporting of facility and service metrics

• Contract negotiations, modifications, and other related contractual requirements
