Novetta is seeking a Deputy Product Manager for the next-generation Mission Information System for a Government customer with a very critical mission. This system will integrate more than 25 operational systems to provide a unified view of information needs, collection management, multi-INT tasking, and intelligence production that is lacking today.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the Product Manager and Product Owners on product strategy and the roadmap

  • Working with stakeholders across multiple organizations to understand key features and prioritization

  • Engaging end users at all levels across stakeholder community to collect feedback, provide training, and ensure requirements are met

  • Defining use cases, product requirements, and translating these into user stories with acceptance criteria

  • Working with UI/UX designers to develop features and functions that address customer needs

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAFe Agile

  • Experience with Requirements Analysis/Validation -e.g. Writing Unit Tests, User Interface Tests, etc

  • Experience as Product Owner in the Agile/Scrum model of product development environment

  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be able to travel 10% of the time

  • Strong grasp of user experience and user interface concepts

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

  • Experience in the analyst community

  • HS and 10+ yrs relevant experience; OR Associate's and 8+ yrs relevant exp; OR Bachelor's and 6+ yrs relevant experience; OR Master's and 4+ yrs of relevant exp; OR PhD and 2+ yrs of relevant experience

Desired Skills:

  • Agile Product Owner Certification (Certified Scrum Product Owner, Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified Scrum Professional Product Owner)

  • Experience working with Collection Management

  • Strong history of working with CCMDs
