This is a full-time position that is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Division Administrator.
AGENCY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Division of Industrial Relations (DIR) is a Division of the Department of Business and Industry.
DIR is comprised of six Sections: Legal, Mechanical Compliance, Mine Safety and Training, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Safety Consultation and Training, and Workers' Compensation.
Our primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and health of public and private business locations through the State of Nevada to benefit the business owners, employees and the general public.
DIR includes 220 full-time employees.
APPROXIMATE Annual Salary: Up To $95,931 plus benefits *Salary range reflects retirement (PERS) contributions by both the employee and employer.
An employer paid contribution plan is also available with a reduced gross salary.
Benefits: The State benefits package includes a retirement system, paid health, vision, dental, life and disability insurance; 11 paid holidays, and paid sick and annual leave.

POSITION DESPCRIPTION: The Deputy Administrator reports to the Administrator.
This position assists the Administrator in the supervision and management of the Division.
The Division maintains offices in Carson City, Reno and Las Vegas with additional offices for Mine Safety and Training in Winnemucca and Elko.

MANTHE Director Deputy Administrator candidates must possess:
Experience in the supervision and management of other high-level management staff in a complex organization with multiple functions.
Budget experience, including assisting in building the Divisions' budget, and oversight and tracking.
Personnel experience, including management and supervision of employees.
Good communication skills.
Ability to meet with outside groups to discuss issues and to promote DIR's programs.
Ability to perform outreach in the regulated business community, including attending various meetings and conferences, as well as work closely with other Business and Industry divisions and employees.
TO QUALIFY: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree.
A minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in the supervision of administrators and employees.
Ability to direct multiple programs involving multi-disciplines.
Knowledge of budget preparation and tracking.
Experience with personnel and human resource management.

Specialties include support for treatment of colorectal and thoracic conditions, women's health conditions, cancer, obesity, general, plastic, orthopedic, and urology.  The Market Development Representative partners with territory sales managers to develop and execute programs and tactics designed to raise awareness to LINX and educate patients and physicians including: gastroenterologists, otolaryngologists, and primary care physicians * Develop and execute programs and tactics targeted to patients and HCPs, including: * Local and regional society meeting exhibits, symposia, pre and post event mailings * Peer-to-peer events (dinner programs, grand rounds, webinars) * Targeted direct mail campaigns * Referring practice and hospital staff education * Targeted sales calls * Collaborate with field marketing teammates and sales managers to develop new programs, tactics, and resources targeted to referring practice awareness and education * The Field Marketing team is expected to present 5 new ideas to marketing leadership monthly * Plan and execute patient education communications and events, including: * Direct mail * Educational seminars * Health fairs * Webinars * Work with LINX ® accounts to capture and report monthly performance metrics * Adhere to company compliance policies and procedures regarding interactions with health care professionals and health care entities Qualifications * A Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field is required. * A valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 United States is required. * 3+ years of relevant sales experience is required. * Hospital-based pharmaceutical or medical device experience product selling is strongly preferred. * Candidates with documented successful sales performance (high growth, results vs. plan), the ability to target accounts and achieve results through a daily action plan and the ability to collaborate with other internal associates (peers, marketing, Strategic Account Managers), external companies (distributor reps) and KOLs are preferred. * Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas is preferred. * Demonstrated effective leadership skills and teaching ability required. * Technical understanding with the ability to analyze and present information is required.
