Job Title: Deputy Contract Director (DCD)
Location: Washington, DC
Description: ALEX - Alternative Experts is now hiring for an immediate opening. The successful candidate will report to the Contract Director and will have responsibility for assisting with the management of Contractor performance of all work required and functions.
Detailed Responsibilities Include:
Act as a team leader in the work of all personnel to ensure compliance with standards and operating procedures and the requirements of the contract.
Confer with the Contract Director to address problems related to the personnel employed under the contract, and assist in the resolution of all personnel problems.
Assist in providing on-the-job training in methods and procedures to newly assigned staff, and develop visual aids, as required, to promote operational efficiency.
Assist in data gathering for various productivity reports, and conduct internal surveys as directed.
Resolve working level complaints and/or problems, and resolve other operational problems within the scope of the contract.
Ensure that routine maintenance on equipment is performed, and participate in system changes to accommodate increased workload and organizational changes.
Ensure that adequate personnel are available to accomplish required work, and initiate replenishment actions for expendable supplies furnished by the Government.
Must have a DSS SECRET or TOP SECRET security clearance where applicable, and/or be capable of obtaining a Department of Justice security clearance.
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of support services functions (mail management and warehousing).
Must have two (2) years of supervisory experience in handling time-sensitive, service-oriented functions.
Must be skilled in the use of the MS Office product suite, to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
Must possess demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, preferably within the federal government environment.
