About the Position: Provides the employee with full benefits, vacation and sick leave. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Deputy Chief Staff Officer to the Chief of Staff and Executive Director for Ammunition

  • Provide long-range guidance and direction for the Munitions Logistics Readiness Center (MLRC)

  • Provide executive leadership and direction to assigned mission functions

  • Direct, communicate, integrate, and coordinate execution of all MLRC functions and operations to accomplish assigned missions

Experience required: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled such as: developing, communicating, and/or collaborating with higher level officials to integrate mission operations; conducting studies on the efficiency of ammunition management procedures; integrating ammunition logistics in support of mission requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
