Job Description:

As a Program Manager in the Sustainment Program Office the selected candidate will be responsible for executing the authorized Program baseline for depot repair activations, ensuring the successful integration of Earned Value efforts across authorized scope and ensuring timely CLIN closure and contract close out.

This position will be required to work collaboratively across multiple VSTs to ensure adherence to the Performance Management Baseline and accelerated activation timelines identified in the 80%MC initiative.

Selected candidate will perform technical/program management; will be responsible for resolution of technical, programmatic, business, and contracting risks and issues that affect successful contract execution. Task assignments will arise from various sources, and the output from the projects worked by this individual will often include coordination with, and out briefs for, executive leaders. Candidate will coordinate with various functions on the team to develop integrated technical/project solutions to both tactical and strategic program risks and issues.

  • Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.*

Selected candidate will be subject to a Government background check to obtain a Secret Clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree or above

  • Experience with program management or program

performance management

  • Experience administering defense contracts

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and

partnering across organizational boundaries

  • Strong business acumen, including negotiation and

conflict resolution

  • Proven experience in driving issues to resolution, which may

involve direct interaction with senior leadership within

LM and customer organizations

  • Experience resolving issues that are outside of the

individual's training or background

  • Strong communication skills (written and oral), with a

willingness to engage with subject matter experts in a

variety of different functional organizations

  • Experience operating autonomously with minimal direction

from senior management
