Description:The successful candidate will function as the In-Country Depot Operations Coordinator with the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Missile Defense system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The successful candidate will serve as the Maintenance & Test Supply Depot (MTSD) Task Lead and will coordinate successful execution of all maintenance and sustainment activities. Oversees repairs, modifications, and implementation of program initiatives for fielded THAAD systems and related subassemblies in accordance with (IAW) specific engineering specifications. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. May serve as the point of contact for logistics with the customer on depot specific repair progress. This position will be the day-to-day task lead of up to QTY 6 MTSD on-site personnel.
The successful candidate will:
Coordinate extensively with THAAD KSA In-Country Task Coordinator and CLS Battery Leads to determine hardware maintenance and repair requirements.
Conducts daily delegation of team members to execute daily work requirements, as well as perform occasional nonstandard maintenance on equipment based on nature of maintenance need.
Assign appropriate tasking and priority of all in work repairs based on mission requirements and hardware availability in the field.
Oversee and manage/maintain appropriate maintenance, inventory, and repair logs.
Provide oversight of all advanced troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair activities of THAAD Fire Control and Communication (TFCC), Launcher, Battery Support Center (BSC) and Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) systems & components not resolved at the Battery level.
Provide oversight of all THAAD Line Replaceable Unit (LRU)/Shop Replaceable Unit (SRU) troubleshooting, repair and rebuild activities beyond battery level capabilities.
Provide oversight of the operation, training and maintenance of Special Tools and Test Equipment (STTE).
Ensure all repair parts are successfully entered into the KSA supply accountability system.
Works with hazardous materials and chemicals, utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
Basic Qualifications:
3-5 years of relevant experience working in Field Service and / or Depot Operations (or similar position)
Previous experience with the THAAD system (or similar system)
An active U.S. Department of Defense SECRET (or Interim SECRET) Security Clearance.
Ability to understand policies and procedures for the control of Government Property
Ability to lift 35 pounds
Ability to work with hazardous materials
A valid U.S. Passport with no restrictions on travel
Willingness to perform these duties in KSA for the total duration of this assignment
Ability to meet KSA Iqama (residence permit/visa) requirements
Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential
Candidate must be able to maintain a good working relationship with the customer
Candidate may also be required to take a post-offer, pre-employment physical to determine deployability capabilities as defined by the contract
Desired Skills:
Technical engineering degree in appropriate field commensurate to assignment and / or equivalent military background
Previous experience as a THAAD or Patriot Field Service Technician, Contractor Logistics Support Technician and / or Depot Maintenance Engineer
Demonstrated ability in interpreting technical manuals, engineering drawings, schematics, interface specifications, and system level requirements
Demonstrated ability in applying troubleshooting and fault detection/isolation methods
Comp TIA Security + Certified
Previous experience working as a Depot lead planning and arranging workload, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating hardware for all depot repairs
Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Certification
Previous experience working with the KSA armed forces
Previous experience executing maintenance management in a military environment (US Army, foreign military, or similar)
Strong personal work ethic and maintenance quality mindset
Basic knowledge of:
Depot Test Equipment operation, maintenance and calibration
Depot material inventory management concepts/processes
Networks (e.g. LAN, WAN, IP address schemes)
Unix and Linux
Electrical/mechanical aptitude
Hydraulic operations
Army Supply System
Army Sustainment (i.e. Depot Maintenance) concepts/processes
Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation Requirements
Other desired military (MOS) training:
14A / 140A / 140E / 14E / 14H / 14T

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
