Deployment Technician

Location: Hartford, CT

Duration: 6 months


  • Responsible for the daily operation of the Customer-site asset handling processes, including inventory management, data erasure, packaging for returns/redeployment/disposal, and scheduling transportation services as needed.

Services can include:

  • On-Site receiving functions for new Equipment orders

  • Point of Contact for Pickup Status

  • Acts as liaison between on-site team and supplier processing and logistics team(s)

  • Reports on available inventory levels

  • Performs imaging reclaimed (re-deployable) assets (if applicable)

  • System builds (software, applications, etc)

  • Asset tagging (if applicable)

  • Coordination with customer contacts as needed to manage asset and peripheral returns

  • (Lease) Return management and reporting/tracking

  • Logistics coordination, consulting and compliance

  • Job creation, reporting and workflow management

  • Inventory management new, redeployable, disposal Equipment

  • Data Center Inventory using Customer provided tools and training

  • Hardware separation by disposition (Redeploy/Disposal)

  • On-Site data erasure (data sanitization)

  • Disposal scheduling and reporting

  • Maintains the Customer-site facility in a neat, clean, organized and orderly fashion

  • Prepares Equipment for pickup/shipping

  • Passes escalations to the Program Supervisor as needed

  • Maintains transaction logs/shipping manifests for returns from customer site

  • Any other reasonable activities within the scope of the resources' technical abilities that is agreed upon by both Customer and supplier.
