We have an exciting opportunity for a Deployable Supply Service Representative to work out of our Ft. Wainwright, Alaska location.

Under general supervision, this position performs a combination of manual and clerical duties involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and issuing equipment, materials, and supplies in one or more warehouse(s). The position is responsible for tracking, logging, verifying, and compiling various reports using appropriate computer system(s) or hard copy documents. Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices. Stores articles according to identifying factors while filling orders or issuing supplies from stock. Prepares stock use reports. Places materials in assigned locations using the proper material handling equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receives purchased and completed manufactured items, verifies identification codes and quantities. Records incoming and outgoing inventory and/or material in the appropriate computer system(s) or hard copy record(s).

  • Prepares and attaches a variety of property identification markers.

  • Fulfills standard and immediate inventory requests and may complete kit requests. Restocks inventory to assure it is at the appropriate level.

  • Documents and restocks returned inventory. Packages, labels, and documents items for shipping.

  • Maintains daily, periodic, and ongoing records and prepares routine as well as ad hoc requested electronic and hard copy reports.

  • May identify, report, and investigate inventory shortages, overages, or discrepancies. Responds to routine verbal and written requests for information from internal sources and may respond to verbal and written requests for information from authorized external parties and/or agencies.

  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

  • Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications

  • Typically requires high school diploma and two or more years of experience in a shipping/receiving and inventory control environment.

  • Additional education may be substituted in lieu of work experience.

  • Must be familiar with using office and specialized inventory/stock control software to track and record inventory levels and prepare requested reports and information, and must be able to work extended hours as required.

  • Must have experience with material handling equipment.

  • Supply experience desired.

  • Valid Drivers License is required.

  • Current and Active DoD Security Clearance is required.

VOs validate dependency by verifying sponsor eligibility, accomplishing DEERS enrollment and updates, and reconciling DEERS error conditions. VOs prepare and issue identification documents using RAPIDS workstations, including new ID cards and missing and unserviceable card replacements. Daily, VOs will register, process, and maintain DEERS and RAPIDS information. Customer satisfaction and processing will always be a top priority, VOs will assist customers; provide advice on eligibility requirements, and process applications to determine eligibility 100% of the time. VOs will add and remove personnel in DEERS, in accordance with the proper established policies/procedures. VOs shall reconcile DEERS inquiries based on information presented. Updates to DEERS/RAPIDS records will take place within one hour of approval and VOs will respond to inquiries no later than one business day following the inquiry. Follow-up and resolution to discrepancies will occur no later than two business days following notification. All personnel performing CAC operator or VO responsibilities will be DMDC Web-Based Training (WBT) certified and will never operate the system without certification provided by DMDC. * Site POC for RAPIDS-related matters * Managing security of RAPIDS workstations under assigned purview ensuring they are operated and maintained under security procedures * Ensuring maximum protection against compromise and theft of sensitive information and prevent the misuse or misappropriation of RAPIDS * Implementing training and awareness for RAPIDS security, and incorporating this training into the overall unit security and RAPIDS training programs * Ensuring unit's contingency plans incorporate RAPIDS requirements * Reporting incidents to the Identification Card Administration Project Management Office with immediate reporting of: any attempt to gain unauthorized access to sensitive defense information, any system failure, or any suspected defect that could lead to unauthorized disclosure * Maintaining Site Information (i.e. site name, site location address, site phone numbers, and site mailing address) * Performing routine operator maintenance on RAPIDS workstations and printers Minimum experience: Must be a US Citizen and possess excellent customer service skills.
