Departmental Analyst 9-P11
This position functions as a Equity Analyst that monitors and tracks OWDT's race equity strategic plan items. This position will measure compliance with the associated Race Equity strategies within OWDT's strategic plan, along with other program areas to determine efficiency and effectiveness.

This position functions as a recognized resource and consultant at the senior level regarding racial equity, diversity, and inclusion for OWDT. This position will create metrics, conduct research, implement evidence-based evaluation methods, interpret and analyze laws, policies and practices that have an adverse effect on equity work within the training unit and
associated partnerships. This position serves a liaison between OWDT and internal/external partners to develop/implement strategies that address racism as a public health crisis. It will provide technical assistance to better assure that training products, policies and
practices are developed through an equity lens. This position will also be responsible for reviewing Executive Directives/Orders and provide written recommendations regarding compliance strategies.

Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
Experience
Departmental Analyst 9
No specific type or amount is required.
Departmental Analyst 10
One year of professional experience.
Departmental Analyst P11
Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
Departmental Analyst 12
Three years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.
Position Location/Remote Office: This position will work remotely. Occasional travel to the office located at in Lansing may be required.
Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely, employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense, including:
o A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
o A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
o Suitable lighting, furniture, and utilities.
