Job Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Department Specialist on the Edible Grocery team is managing the ad planners. Ensures that product is connected to the ads, and that all of the promotions are entered into the system correctly. Works with vendors to ensure the right dates, amounts and quantities are entered in the system for ads.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Maintains complex records

  • Responds to inquiries in area of responsibility

  • Collects data/information for department use in special projects or reports

  • Updates information and reports typically on the computer

  • Checks information for accuracy

  • Prepares and balances data

  • Answers department phones as needed and routes to appropriate area

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent

  • Excellent communication skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instruction

  • Proficient math skills
