Performs general store operations duties, including merchandising, selling, cashiering, product assembly, inventory control, freight processing and stockroom organization, with a strong focus on driving sales. 1. In conjunction with the Store Manager, responsible for the operational performance of the furniture department, including cashiering, service desk, shrink control, store paperwork, merchandise adjacencies presentation, ad signing, special promotions, freight processing and inventory control. 2.

Assists customers with product information, selection and purchase. Offers solutions for out of stock items and priceholds. 3. Manages the pricehold process. 4.

Maintains department inventory, including cycle counts, in an effort to maximize sales and inventory turn. 5. Ensures third party delivery program is marketed to customers and understood by store associates. 6. Assists in control of shrink and safety results. 7.

Assists in training department and store personnel in furniture functions, including sales and customer service techniques. 8. Ensures the appearance of the stores interior and exterior are maintained to standards. 9. Assumes responsibility of total store operation when acting as manager on duty.

Qualifications
1.High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required. Must be 18 years of age. 2. Minimum one year retail sales experience preferred. 3. Mobility to move freely throughout sales floor and stockroom on a continual basis throughout the shift required. Ability to lift, carry, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds required. Frequently required to stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop or kneel. 4. Ability to work at least 40 hours per week. Work schedule varies each week including nights, weekends and holidays. 5. Demonstrated visual merchandising skills preferred. 6. Strong customer service and communication skills required. 7. Basic PC skills required. 8. Basic English literacy and math skills required.

Job Description DLZ Corporation is looking for a Survey Department Manager in our Columbus, OH office. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Organize and direct the efforts of the project managers and staff reporting to this position or assigned on specific Survey projects. * Ensure consistency and high quality in all work produced by the Survey division. * Improve business development within the firm's business development program. * Initiate and maintain contacts with key professionals and officials of other organizations and companies, maintaining working relationships at all levels. * Recommend facilities, personnel and funds required to carry out the programs which are directly related with and directed toward fulfillment of overall Survey division objectives. * Prepare and monitor department's operating budget, while maintaining budgetary guidelines and profitability. * Advise subordinates on professional development and recommend ways for them to advance. * Review staff and is responsible for morale of the department. * Maintain continuous communications with all offices and business development staff to ensure that maximum utilization is made of all company capabilities. * Monitor all work to assure schedules are met and work is performed within budget. * Direct the planning and development of project scopes, procedures, budgets and overall project schedules. * Work with Division Manager to prepare quarterly projections, invoicing and closeout for the department. * Plan, manage, coordinate and administer all work assigned to the department. * Coordinate established performance standards and evaluate work against these standards. * Work with the Division Manager in developing long and short-range plans for the advancement and growth of the department. * Become an active member in civic/professional activities, societies and organizations, and encourage subordinates to become involved in similar activities. * Ensure contractual commitments are met and work is being performed according to the client's instructions. * Review all functions and activities of the division and recommend such actions as are necessary to achieve improvement in design and production and/or cost reduction. * Review job assignments to verify that all health & safety concerns are addressed. * Assure quality control on all projects within the department. * Perform the general functions inherent in all supervisory and managerial positions. * Possess aptitude to act as a positive representative of the company and its core values. * Perform other duties as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's Degree in related engineering field * 5 – 10 years field surveying and project management experience * Registered Professional Surveyor in the state OH, or the ability to become registered within 6 months * Construction layout experience preferred * ODOT Right-Of-Way experience preferred. * Must have the ability to travel to job sites * Ability to visit and safely traverse construction and project sites, complying with all applicable safety codes and requirements.
