The Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging is a resource and assessment center designed to make it easier for seniors, their loved ones and caregivers to access essential information and services to attain the optimal quality of life.

The Department Coordinator has varying responsibilities including intake, scheduling, simple resource coordination, data entry; data reports and community outreach as well other duties and responsibilities as specifically directed by the manager. Must be a motivated self-starter, hardworking, positive attitude, focused, reliable, and able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential referral sources and their peers. Ability to work in fast paced environment. At times the Department Coordinator may be the initial point of contact for clients. This position builds a rapport with customers with professional and timely interactions to ensure they are appropriately supported and have confidence in the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health and human services OR Associates degree and 5+ years of health and human services experience.

• Driver's license and safe driving record

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Exceptional communication skills - both in person and on the phone

• Polished and professional appearance

• Detail-oriented person able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Proficient in computer use
