We have new requirements for In-House. Following is the job description:
Senior wiring harness engineer: Senior-level electrical engineer to support harness design and integration for an Electrical vehicle development. Responsibilities includes:
Contribute to the electrical design, test, and integration of cabling/harnessing for hardware within subsystems and at the vehicle level
Responsible for developing, designing, documenting, releasing, and testing of harness/cable designs for electrical ground support and flight requirements within the program's schedule, budget, and technical requirements
Work with subsystem leads and responsible engineers to identify harnessing requirements on the various subsystems and make recommendations for harnessing needs within the subsystems and at the system level
Must have experience working with program requirements, equipment performance specs, wire connection lists, schematics, wire gauge sizing, connector selection and related cabling and harnessing documentation
Knowledge of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) considerations with respect to electrical design
Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001
Experience 5 yrs or more, BS or MS in electrical engineering
Tools Solid works preferred.
Junior wiring harness engineer (Interns): wiring harness design and drawing release.
These are entry level positions starts as interns and training will be given.
Experience 0 to 2 yrs, BS or MS in electrical engineering
Tools Solid works knowledge is must.
