Who we are
A part of the Texas A&M University Health Science Center, Texas A&M School of Dentistry in Dallas was founded in 1905 and is a nationally recognized center for oral health sciences education, research, specialized patient care and continuing dental education. As one of the fastest-growing academic health centers in the nation, the Texas A&M University Health Science Center encompasses five colleges and numerous centers and institutes working together to improve health through transformative education, innovative research and team-based health care delivery.

The School of Dentistry is looking for a Dentist to join the Clinical Affairs team. We desire an individual who subscribes to and supports our commitment as stated above. The successful applicant will bring an expert level of experience to the position and understands the demands of providing dental care in community health program settings. What you need to know
This position's availability is set to 12 months from the date of hire. Employment in this position is not guaranteed beyond 12 months.
Salary: Commensurate (Based on selected hire's qualifications)
Work Schedule/Location: This is an on-site role with a typical schedule of Monday

Required Education and Experience:
Doctor of Dentistry (DD), Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Six years of related experience in a dental practice setting.
Required Licenses and Certifications:
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of skills associated with the practice of general dentistry.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the principles and practice of modern dentistry as related to community health programs.
Proficiency with electronic health records systems.
Previous experience in private practice, community health or outreach clinic setting.
Knowledge of CADCAM Scanning Systems
