Alabama Regional Medical Services (ARMS) is seeking an experienced Dentist to lead our dental team and provide high-quality, patient-centered oral healthcare. What You'll Do:
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases, injuries, and malformations of the teeth and gums.
- Perform preventive treatments, including fluoride applications, sealants, and patient education.
- Restore damaged teeth with fillings, crowns, and dentures and perform basic oral surgery as needed.
- Administer anesthetics and pain management for extractions and other procedures.
- Oversee dental staff, budget planning, and department policies to ensure operational excellence.
- Maintain compliance with state regulations, public health guidelines, and professional standards.
- Actively participate in recruitment, training, and leadership meetings to drive continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- Doctoral degree in Dental Medicine (DDS or DMD).
- Active Alabama Dental License, Controlled Substance Licensure, and DEA Licensure.
- 3+ years of clinical experience as a dentist.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a dental clinic setting.
- Experience working with both pediatric and adult patients.
- Proficiency in basic oral surgery, endodontics, and digital dental records (Dentrix preferred).
- Bilingual (Spanish) fluency is a plus!
