Dental Treatment Coordinator - Rockaway Beach, NY

We are seeking an upbeat, energetic, organized and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our team. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the dental office by coordinating patient appointments, managing medical records, and providing administrative support. Must be willing to close treatment plans, for the patient's benefit. Must bilingual, Spanish

Responsibilities:

- Obtain and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details

- Assist with medical record management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Coordinate treatment plans with dentists and other healthcare professionals

- Educate patients on treatment options, financial arrangements, and insurance coverage

- Process insurance claims and verify coverage

- Maintain a clean and organized reception area

DAYs/HOURS: Mon Tues Thurs Fri 8:15 - 6ish; WEDS is closed; Sat 8:15 - 3. Will be 40 hours.

Requirements

- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office setting is required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements
- Must be Spanish bilingual

Benefits

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour, withbonuses

Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
