Dental Practice Administrator

Responsibilities:

Patient Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment. Assist with inquiries, appointment scheduling, and general information.

Appointment Management: Coordinate and schedule appointments efficiently, optimizing the dentist's schedule and ensuring optimal patient flow.

Insurance Coordination: Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits. Work closely with insurance providers to resolve any issues.

Billing Support: Collaborate with the billing department to address patient billing inquiries, provide cost estimates, and facilitate payment arrangements.

Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including personal information, medical history, and treatment plans.

Communication Skills: Effectively communicate treatment plans, post-treatment care instructions, and follow-up appointments to patients in a clear and empathetic manner.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

Experienced in working with people, handling a wide range of administrative tasks, and able to work independently.

Well organized, flexible, has a growth mindset both for themselves and for the office.

Dental experience of 6 months or more is required.
