Position Description
This position is responsible for assuring smooth operations of clinic patient flow. Employees in the PSS position serve as primary contact for patients and are charged with scheduling appointments, receiving patients and working side by side with students and faculty to meet students and patient needs. In addition, this position is responsible for processing all payments accurately and efficiently. PSS position requires working on a mobile station as well as a stationary position daily.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of basic office equipment to include telephone, laptop, desktop, scanner, printer, signature pad and credit card terminal.
Professional communications skills in person, over the phone and in writing.
Ability to interact efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of people.
Good time management skills in a busy working environment.
Willingness to accept and handle frequent changes.
Takes developmental opportunities and constructive criticism with a positive attitude.
Knowledge of all dental procedures and codes.
Works closely with staff, administration, faculty and students.
Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish.
Willing to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, some extended hours are possible.
Required Qualifications
A High School diploma or GED
1 year Customer Service, office, or related experience.
Additional education may substitute for the experience requirement
