Job Summary:

David M. Lovit DMD is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our team in the Forest Acres Area! The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health.

Schedule is Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

1.Conduct routine dental cleanings and assist dentists in examinations.

2.Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies.

3.Take X-rays and develop them for the dentist's review.

4.Perform oral cancer screenings and other preventive dental care.

5.Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling.

Qualifications:

1.Valid South Carolina Dental Hygienist license.

2.. Excellent knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.

3.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

4.Ability to work well in a team environment.

The ideal candidate:

• Be detail orientated and organized

• Have the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work independently as well as with a team

• Be familiar with Eaglesoft (but not a requirement!)
