Job Summary
The person in this position will perform Dental Hygiene duties with patients at KY Clinic Adult Dentistry. This will include performing prophylaxis and polishing, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planning, patient assessment of hard and soft tissues, periodontal exams, applying fluoride varnish and sealants, as ordered by dentist, and taking radiographs.
The person in this position will provide additional clinical support and provide patient record documentation.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Must have excellent clinical dental hygiene skills, and ability to work with mentally, medically and physically complex patients. MS Office, Dental Hygienist License, Attention to Detail, Team-Oriented, Knowledge of Medicaid Insurance, proficient in health records.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience
Licensed Dental Hygienist. Hygienist with pediatric experience preferred. Must be good with children.
