Job Overview

Responsible for performing complete dental prophylaxis, takes and develops radiographs, chart oral conditions, instruct on oral hygiene procedures, perform periodontal scaling and root planning, sterilize instruments, disinfect all work area. Assists with teaching OSHA and infection control procedures.

Qualifications

Work requires the level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of an accredited instructional program in Dental Hygiene. Must be licensed by the state of New Jersey as a Dental Hygienist.

Work requires the analytical ability to gather and interpret data in situations where the information or problems are not overly difficult or complex. Work requires direct patient care to adolescent and adult patients.
