A part-time position offers competitive pay, 1 hour appointments, free live and recorded opportunities for CE credits, and a wonderful, positive, teamwork environment.

Pay: $55-$60/hour

Schedule: Monday and Friday

Elite Dental specializes in general & cosmetic dentistry and is conveniently located in the heart of walkable Arlington, just 2 blocks from the Clarendon Metro station and is near Washington and Wilson Boulevards for an easy commute by Metro or car. Lots of great shopping within walking distance (great for lunch breaks!). Our office is tucked away from street traffic, which allows for us to build a client base based on word-of-mouth and positive online Google reviews. Our beautiful boutique practice features a spa-like ambiance and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including digital x-rays, 3D cone beams, Biolase diode lasers, and iTero scanner. Our award winning team of doctors, hygienists, and staff are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

The hygienist we hire must have an active hygiene license for the state of Virginia.

We have been working diligently to ensure all our patients and staff feel safe and protected while in our office. We have all the proper PPE for the staff and are CDC COVID-19 compliant.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities

• Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times

• Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.

• Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.

• Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.

• Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Desired Skills:

• Active Hygiene license for the state you applied, required

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
