Overview
DHA Verona is looking for a Dental Hygienist in Verona, VA to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. This person will handle a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations including cleaning teeth and examining oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease. They also may educate patients on oral hygiene, take and develop x rays, or apply fluoride or sealants. All aspects of the job require an exceptional level of customer service and communication skills.
This is a full time position, working Mon - Fri (no weekends), but can accommodate part time interest as well. We offer great benefits: PTO, paid holidays, healthcare benefits, uniforms and more! Compensation- $50/hour

Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities
As a Dental Hygienist, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the oral health of our patients through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other essential hygiene-related services. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about dental care and dedicated to providing the highest level of care at all times.
The Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment, care, and education in accordance with state-approved guidelines and regulations.
Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.
Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Active Hygiene license for the state of VA, required
