Gentle Dental is currently searching for a Dental Hygienist for our office located in Springfield, PA 19064. This is a part-time position working Fridays only 8:45-2:00. More hours may be available in January if desired. Traveling Temp positions also available.

At Dental Solutions we strive to keep up with the latest technology. Our office is completely digital and we're currently utilizing digital x-rays, Itero Scanners, digital charting and more new technology is just around the corner.

Dental Solutions is a well established practice, providing exceptional dental care to our community for many years.

Candidates with previous experience is always a plus but we also encourage hygienists just starting their hygiene careers to apply.

The hygienist we hire must have an active hygiene license for the state of PA. New hygiene grads must be applying for license soon.

Responsibilities

• Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times

• Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.

• Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.

• Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.

• Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Active Hygiene license for the state of Pennsylvania

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
