Dental Assisting/Radiography Part-Time As Needed Instructor

Required Qualifications:

Five (5) Years of recent and relevant Dental Assisting Experience and Dental Assistant Radiographer's License

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous teaching experience

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Participate in all required professional development activities

• Maintain an active advisory committee

(must hold two meetings per year)

• Work collaboratively and effectively with staff and students

• Assist with clerical work and maintain complete and accurate records as required for the dental program

• Assist in caring for and securing classroom equipment and supplies (you will be sharing this space)

• Maintain complete and accurate records as required by district policy

• Actively assist in upholding and enforcing classroom, lab safety, school rules and Board Policy

• Establish and maintain open lines of communication with students and staff

• Utilize approved course of study as a basis for instruction

• Attend district and state professional development events if required,

including any necessary training for delivery of the Dental Assisting curriculum

• Perform other specific job-related duties as directed
