NaphCare is hiring an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team at the Clackamas County Jail located in Oregon City, OR. This position works every other Sunday from 7am-5pm and we have PRN shifts available! Pay rates range from $26.00-$29.00 per hour based on shift, PT, PRN, site needs, and experience. Daily Pay for PRN shifts - choose when you get paid by making your earnings available before payday. PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs for FT shifts and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability.

NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up-to-date. This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing.

Position Description:

• Coordinate dental services and assist Dentist with patient care, instruments, supplies, documentation and support the function of the dental department

• Assist in documentation and maintenance of all patient dental records

• Assist in triaging and scheduling of all dental sick call requests

• Prepare clinic with appropriate instruments and materials for scheduled visits

• Assist Dentist during treatment by providing instruments, materials, retraction or suction

• Mix and fabricate all restorative materials

• Ensure all dental equipment properly maintained and functioning

• Sterilize and disinfect equipment and tools

• Develop all routine radiographs
