Job Title: Dental Assistant – Part Time – Schedule 8-hour shift – Expected Hours: 25 – 35 per week

Location:
Burgettstown, PA - Relocate before starting work (Required) - Work Location:In Person

Pay Ranges:
Up to
$17.62 - $18.19 per hour

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare services to patients. This is a full-time position in a dynamic and patient-centered dental practice.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
  

• Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
  

• Take and develop dental X-rays
  

• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
  

• Maintain accurate patient records
  

• Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment
  

Job Skills:

• Proficient in infection control procedures
  

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  

• Experience with dental software such as Epic or Eaglesoft
  

• Understanding of medical imaging techniques
  

• Knowledge of medical terminology
  

• Ability to take and process X-rays

• Familiarity with medical coding procedures
