Dental Assistant

We have a small and friendly office in Ellicott City that is experiencing growth and looking for a full-time Dental Assistant to join their team! This office has a very upbeat and calm atmosphere and is looking for someone that will be a great fit.

4 day work week. No weekends!

Salary:
$20 - $27 per hour depending on skill level and experience
Biweekly payBenefits:

• Requirements:
• Dental Assistant certification or diploma from an accredited program
• Radiology certification
• Previous experience working as a Dental Assistant is preferred

• Duties:
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
• Take digital dental x-rays
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Perform patient assessments and record medical histories
• Assist with medical documentation and coding
• Maintain and update patient records using our practice management software (Eaglesoft)
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
• Order and maintain dental supplies and equipment

• Skills:
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Knowledge of most dental procedures

• Working Schedule:
• Monday 7:30am- 5:00pm
• Tuesday 7:30am- 5:00pm
• Thursday 7:30am- 5:00pm
• Friday 7:30am- 2:00pm

Office Closed on Wednesdays1-hour lunches

Dress code is scrubs
