We are looking to add an experienced, energetic, and reliable dental assistant to our incredible team. You fully anticipate the doctor’s needs during procedures and can multi-task when not chairside.

You are detail-oriented and efficient in your skills and work, and you want to create the highest quality results for your patients. You are excited to learn new things and will take the initiative to find answers. You are a diligent professional able to work with their dedicated team of clinicians and administrators.

You have the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with our patients. You speak Spanish. (Not required, but highly wanted) You have familiarity with Open Dental. (Note required, but highly wanted) What about Dan Lafferty, the owner? Dr. Lafferty grew up in a small town in Utah; after high school, he moved to Los Angeles, CA, to build movie sets.

After years of working in the movie industry, he decided to move his small family to Portland, Oregon. While there, he was influenced by a good friend to pursue the dental profession. He decided to go back to school to become a dentist.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Portland State University and then a DMD degree from OHSU (Oregon), graduating class of 2014. After Dental school, he joined the US Navy, serving as a Dental officer, and continues to serve our country in the Navy reserves. He joined the practice in 2018 and has since become its owner.

The passions he enjoys are traveling, learning about other cultures and cuisines, and snowboarding. Dr Lafferty is married to Toni, and they have six children. The kids all love outdoor activities.
