Dental Assistant 2 - Minimum Qualifications Waived

The Position

Dental Assistants assist dentists in the general or specialized treatment of patients in routine, emergency, and clinical research procedures in areas of diagnostic, preventive, restorative, periodontal, endodontic, pedodontic, orthodontic, oral surgery, and prosthodontic dental care.

This position is located at Florence McClure Women's Correctional Center (FMWCC), in Las Vegas, Nevada. The incumbent works under the supervision of a Senior Institutional Dentist; as well as other supervisors, in the general treatment of inmates; in both routine and emergency procedures; in areas of diagnostic, preventative, restorative, periodontal, endodontic, periodontics, orthodontic, oral surgery and prosthetic dental care.

Responsible for a wide range tasks within the dental office; including patient care and administrative related duties and laboratory functions.
