Demo Build Engineer

Vistex is looking for individuals to design and configure customized demo scenarios for potential and existing customers of the Vistex suite of products.

The Demo Build Engineer will be located in the Vistex Hoffman Estates, IL office; and will frequently interact with Sales, Services, Development, and Product Management to build world-class software demonstrations. Individuals in this position will have the opportunity to learn how companies across multiple industries bring their products to market while continually growing their technical skills by working with Vistex's latest technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain in-depth technical, product functionality, and operation knowledge of Vistex software products

• Provide ongoing product-specific technical guidance to Presales team members and other audiences as required and appropriate

• Develop, as needed, supplemental product/solution documentation complementary to prospect/client business and technical demonstrations

• Configure Vistex software for multiple business scenarios across multiple industries

• Tailor existing demonstrations or work within the Vistex team to configure new business scenarios based on customer requirements for sales demonstrations

• Participate in business requirements gathering and design solutions within the Vistex framework to meet the needs

• Assist in the creation of presentations for company events and trade shows

• Other duties as required or directed

Qualifications

Education

Degree: Bachelors

Experience

Knowledge of SAP SD software module

Knowledge of business processes in the life science, wholesale distribution, or consumer products industries

Programming / Configuration experience requiring complex logic statements or specification of software customizations (RICEF

2 years SAP configuration experience

Independent thinking with keen problem-solving skills

Ability to adapt to changing schedules and multiple work plans

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Ability to learn new software quickly

Extremely comfortable in a fast-paced environment that requires excellent time-management and the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

A cool-head, able to maintain poise and composure under pressure in relatively ambiguous and complex situations

Highly accountable, understanding that Presales Engineering directly impacts the Vistex brand, market reputation, prospect/client impressions, and sales performance
