Dementia Certified Home Health Aide (Chha) - Caregiver

Must have an active Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in the state of New Jersey

We are searching for a Certified Home Health Aide to provide care for one of our valued clients. This client is currently battling dementia, so we are searching for a passionate caregiver who has previous experience caring for a dementia client. It includes dealing with episodes of paranoia. They also need help with ADLs and eating meals.

Shifts are currently from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Caring for a dementia client

• Assist with ADLs and helping the client eat

• Comfortable with episodes of paranoia

Qualifications

• New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license, currently active and in good standing

• Previous dementia experience is required, especially episodes of paranoia

• Previous experience with assisting with ADLs and meals

• Reliability, professionalism, and punctuality are strict requirements

• Must have reliable means of transportation to and from work
