The Demand Planning Sr. Analyst will report to the Senior Director of Strategic Commercial & Supply as part of Gibson's newly created Demand/Supply Planning teams to expand Gibson's operational planning capabilities. This role will be featured as a close partner with Gibson's global Commercial Teams to enable Gibson to strengthen our ability to capitalize on growth opportunities as part of our long-term strategic global planning.

This role will combine technical subject matter expertise leading design of new sell-in tools and expansion of current tools, delivering actionable analysis & insights, and serving as a Leader in cross-functional communications on Demand Planning topics. This role requires advanced analytical skills and high attention to detail with the ability to work in an ambiguous environment as the future state vision of Gibson's planning capabilities is designed and pursued as we evolve to an OmniChannel environment. The right candidate must be motivated by delivering substantial impact to the growth of the business and unlocking new capabilities to their process partners.

Essential Functions

  • Designs Demand Planning tools & analysis and manage cadence to service Gibson's Commercial Teams on available sell-in opportunities

  • Serves as key counterpart with Supply Planning Lead to partner on expansion and capabilities of Gibson's Demand & Supply Planning models

  • Serve as a key change agent and leader in Gibson Brand's S&OP process; leading meetings and working closely with key contributors to ready materials and content; and drive changes globally to Demand/Supply Planning process

  • Present Demand Planning-driven analysis and insights to Executive Leadership for key Commercial & Operational planning

  • Ownership of customer fulfillment prioritization working closely with key stakeholders globally to align monthly for end-to-end operational planning purposes

  • Conduct deep dive analysis and understanding of the impact of drafted Supply Plans to order book fulfillment, providing forward visibility to enable order book adjustments or supplemental sell-in opportunities

  • Serve as key partner with Gibson's Direct-to-Consumer team analyzing forecasted needs and sell-thru to identify areas of unmet demand and enabling proper omnichannel inventory management

  • Conducts global forecasting analysis identifying trends of order planning sharing insights with regional Sales Planning leads to drive new orders/forecast adjustments

  • Aid in design and own safety stock management for Gibson's North America locations to service our fulfillment to our global regions

  • Lead conceptual design and implementation as Business Partner for Microsoft Power BI reports supporting Demand Planning performance tracking

  • Monitors Gibson's Available-to-Sell (ATS) inventory levels tracking performance and proactively providing visibility and opportunities to Gibson's Commercial Teams

  • Serve as leading team member in standing up key performance indicators to measure end-to-end service level commitments to customers

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Exceptional organizational and follow up skills, ability to work autonomously and consistently meet deadlines

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel & Modeling capability

  • Intermediate Alteryx understanding and skillset; or experience on similar platforms

  • Comfort working in ambiguous environments and serve as change agent across functions

  • Strong ability to consolidate big data into KPI dashboards or reports usable by large audiences

  • Ability to build on existing reporting dashboards to support Gibson enterprise growth

  • Proven ability to build on inherited Excel models and integrate into global insights/summaries

  • Clear communicator with a strong ability to navigate through data to "tell the story"

  • Advanced presentation skills and ability to message to multiple levels in organization including Executive Leadership

  • Ability to learn new demand/supply planning processes & systems and adapt best practices

  • Comfort building and leading training sessions to accelerate adoption of newly designed processes or ways of working

  • Desire to work in transparent and iterative office culture that values engaged discussion and collaborative strategic planning

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance or equivalent degree/work experience

  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills; ability to grasp new concepts quickly

  • Experience working in senior or autonomous roles preferred

  • Demonstrated capability to proactively build strong working relationships across multiple functions

  • Demonstrated leadership on tackling new challenges and working in ambiguous environments

Essential Knowledge

3+ years of experience in roles developing advanced analytical skills preferably in Supply Chain, Operational, or Planning environments

  • Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain concepts in a manufactured goods environment

  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent ERP system, Power BI or similar reporting platforms, & Microsoft Office required

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Project management skills combined with ability to work as part of a team

  • Excels working with both in-person and remote settings

  • Confident scheduling and leading collaborative discussions to drive execution of deliverables

Travel Requirements

  • Less than 5% outside locality

  • This will be primarily an office-based role with local travel to HQ and manufacturing/distribution facilities

Physical Demands
