Solvay Business Services is currently looking for an IS Demand Planning & Scheduling Specialist, to be based in Princeton, regional North America headquarter of the Group.
Job Overview and Responsibilities
The IS Demand Planning & Scheduling Specialist will work on a global team in charge of developing and deploying tools allowing the Solvay Group users to execute their Supply Chain planning processes, such as strategic planning, S&OP (Sales & Operation Planning), or short term production planning. In addition, inside Demand & Supply Chain Planning the Specialist will be a master modeler, design workspaces and interface with the data hub. The tools currently used within the Solvay Group are mainly SAP PP, Dynasys (S&OP solution), ORTEMS (scheduling solution), SAP APO (DP module) and SAP BW.
Education and Experience
Very good understanding of production and planning processes (S&OP, MPS, MRP, Scheduling) and at least 5 years of business experience in this field.
Solid expertise on the IT tools supporting these processes (APS) and specifically DynaSys.
Prior experience in the deployment of solutions on global projects. Experience in the Chemical Industry would be a plus.
Demonstrated experience in project management specifically experience in delivering projects in the field of Supply Chain.
APICS certification is a plus.
Functional knowledge of SAP PP and/or Material Management is desired.

Verbal: The ability to communicate at all levels from executives and team members with a little technical background to peers with deep technical knowledge.
