Solvay Business Services is currently looking for an IS Demand Planning & Scheduling Specialist, to be based in Princeton, regional North America headquarter of the Group.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

The IS Demand Planning & Scheduling Specialist will work on a global team in charge of developing and deploying tools allowing the Solvay Group users to execute their Supply Chain planning processes, such as strategic planning, S&OP (Sales & Operation Planning), or short term production planning. In addition, inside Demand & Supply Chain Planning the Specialist will be a master modeler, design workspaces and interface with the data hub. The tools currently used within the Solvay Group are mainly SAP PP, Dynasys (S&OP solution), ORTEMS (scheduling solution), SAP APO (DP module) and SAP BW.

Education and Experience

  • BA or BS degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field

Skills

  • Very good understanding of production and planning processes (S&OP, MPS, MRP, Scheduling) and at least 5 years of business experience in this field.

  • Solid expertise on the IT tools supporting these processes (APS) and specifically DynaSys.

  • Prior experience in the deployment of solutions on global projects. Experience in the Chemical Industry would be a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience in project management specifically experience in delivering projects in the field of Supply Chain.

  • APICS certification is a plus.

  • Functional knowledge of SAP PP and/or Material Management is desired.

  • Strong, confident and authoritative communications capabilities:

  • Verbal: The ability to communicate at all levels from executives and team members with a little technical background to peers with deep technical knowledge.
