About The Role

Working with input from Sales Forecasts, customer orders and other external/internal demand, prepare and input data into an MPS system to provide our global factories with the best build/buy plan possible. Experience will provide the ability to recognize customer ordering patterns and behaviors.

Establish relationships with Sales Administration and External Sales Managers to better understand our customers' businesses and future projections. Become familiar with our product lines to understand the similarities of material content of these products.

Develop and communicate reports that demonstrate the status of the forecast. Provide feedback and question the Sales team when conflicts arise.

What You Will Do

  • Global customer demand data analysis and forecast projections.

  • Conduct forecast projections per product family, sales region, or customer.

  • Maintain forecast module settings in ERP system.

  • MPS forecast upload and data maintenance.

  • Analyze Supply vs Demand to optimize Supply Chain strategy.

  • Identify supply and demand issues (gaps to plan), identify scenarios to mitigate, and prepare recommendations for senior leadership review.

  • Identify specific customer demand from component shortages.

  • Comply with the Health, Safety and Environment Policy, following the procedures and work instructions applicable to his/her activities for the participation in the established Objectives and Goals.

What You Need

  • Minimum four years' experience in Customer demand and production control planning

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills required.

  • Effectively able to communicate and influence stakeholders and partners at various levels and across functions within the organization.

  • Working knowledge of ERP Systems and logic, specifically demand forecasting.

  • Superior analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to quickly grasp and interpret information pertinent to the growth of the organization.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations under stress.

  • Ability to analyze data and create reports which accurately reflect the state of the business.

  • Knowledge of working in a vertical integrated operation, low volume, and high mix business.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; including Word, Excel, Power BI, Power Point, Outlook

  • Experience in data analysis and presenting to senior leaders.

Preferred Characteristics:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • SIOP Certification

  • APICS Certification

  • Experience with Glovia.

  • Bilingual Spanish and English

This position offers a hybrid work model, blending remote flexibility with required in-office days for optimal collaboration and productivity at Spellman High Voltage headquarters in Hauppauge, NY. Our good faith estimate of the salary range for this role is $64,260.00 and $96,417.00. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base pay, we offer a comprehensive and highly competitive benefits package.
