Responsibilities

In this role, you will

  • Oversee demand planning and management processes for new and existing products.

  • Develop and execute product demand plans to meet organization goals.

  • Provide support in developing seasonal demand forecasts and anticipate customers reactions to the promotions and discounts, as well as forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends.

  • Work with PJM, sales team and supply chain management to improve forecast accuracy.

  • Maintain demand plan program to ensure cost effectiveness and to meet customer demands considering cash flow and economic aspect

  • Assist and Influence risk assessment and mitigation activities.

  • Maintain inventory levels based on future customer demands.

  • Address demand-related queries and issues in a timely manner.

  • Maintain demand planning processes and systems to improve forecasting accuracy

  • Identify areas of improvements and recommend action plans.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will offer:

Education:

  • Master in Economics or Business Administration or equivalent experience in Statistics, Supply Chain or Materials/Operations Management is preferred

Experience:

  • Knowledge of use of ERP-System

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in a Demand Planning environment, preferably within the Clinical trial Business or Healthcare field

  • Strong overall understanding of the supply chain function and how internal customers utilize the demand planning information

  • Experience analysing large amounts of information/data and developing fact based conclusions

  • Strong problem solving abilities, with experience using various analytical tools, including root cause analysis

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of the organization

  • Proactive, organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and learn quickly

  • Strong Excel skills are required for this role

  • Knowledge of Oracle and BI tools would be an asset

  • Ability to speak, read and write German at the professional level is desireable but not required.
