The Demand Planner owns Pre-Season Plans and In-Season Forecast management for their assigned area of responsibility. They collaborate with other Demand Planners and Inventory Analysts to execute Category Management strategy. The Demand Planner will work with cross-functional partners to provide value on varying projects as needed. They are pro-active and detail oriented contributing to the optimization of our supply chain by ensuring accurate demand forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with inventory management, merchandising, space planning, digital, operations, and marketing teams to gather relevant data and insights for demand forecasting.

• Develop and maintain demand forecasting models to predict future demand patterns and trends. Regularly review and adjust demand forecasts based on changing market conditions and business strategies.

• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and guest behavior to enhance forecasting accuracy.

• In partnership with Inventory Management, work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely and efficient supply chain operations.

• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.

• Provide input for production planning and inventory optimization to meet guest demand.

• Communicate forecast changes and updates to cross-functional teams to facilitate informed decision-making.

• Collaborate with IT and data analytics teams to enhance demand planning tools and systems.

• Provides strategic guidance to Inventory Management Team on excess inventory, close dated inventory, and seasonal inventory transitions.

• Articulate how items are performing relative to business targets while defining what actions need to be taken to improve performance.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
