Qwick is a well-funded and fast-growing startup looking for a full time Business Development Manager, Dallas, to acquire new clients in the hospitality industry - specifically hotels, catering companies, event venues, restaurants and golf courses. This role is for someone who is able to dive right in to a growing industry and make an impact. We are looking for an engaging, motivated, personable Business Development Manager to join our team and empower the future of work.

The Demand Manager will own business / demand growth in Dallas, including:

  • Conduct research to identify the best companies to target
  • Leverage warm leads from the Marketing team to close the deal in person or over the phone
  • Network with local hospitality groups and be the face of Qwick for your city
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Contribute to the knowledge pool and share best practices with Biz Dev peers across the US
  • Help businesses to better staff their establishments by signing up for Qwick and posting their first shifts on the platform

Requirements

  • Capability to plan and close deals with complete autonomy
  • You believe No means they dont completely understand what youre selling, and that Maybe leads to Yes leads to This Is Amazing! in a sale
  • Self motivated - you have an inner hunger to get deals done, because you believe in what you do, and are proud of the products you represent
  • An eagerness to learn, grow, explore, and hone your sales skills, and share those learnings / learn from your talented peers
  • B2B and/or B2C sales experience preferred

VIEW JOBS 10/21/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-19T00:00 SUMMARY: This position will require an experienced S&OP / SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operational Planning) and production planning leader able to facilitate and drive results in a fast paced and demanding growth environment, leveraging his/her strong interpersonal and leadership skills. This role will be challenged to streamline the existing Materials Management process that will integrate the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning process with production planning in both SAP and JDE to improve customer satisfaction, profitability, inventory turns and working capital. Key to success in this position is the ability to develop, lead and execute the business's material's management team that will optimize the experience for our customers and enhance revenue/margin growth for the business. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Optimize supply plan and manage operational planning efforts to meet customer requirements while delivering targeted business goals and operational and financial metrics for the North American Pipe division. * Proactively manage the system operational configuration within SAP and JDE to maximize operating rates, minimize costs, and achieve or exceed sales forecast requirements. * Provide planning information and recommendations for the on-going financial forecasting process, the annual business plan and long-term strategy development. * Implement Planning, Scheduling and Inventory best practices, tools and metrics. * Implement production planning MRP best practices, tools and metrics * Effectively collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Business Management on operational planning activities and issues. * Lead a team to ensure plant schedules, demand planning and production controlling are followed across North America Be an integral business team member supporting and driving actions that maximize earnings and meet business goals. * As integral part of company's key business process systems' selection, implementation, and execution, document and share "best practice" methods. * Work to reduce the cost of sales and operations planning, recommending improvements to processes and procedures. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises Production Planning Supervisor and Inventory functions and indirectly supervises their teams. QUALIFICATIONS: * Builds strong working relationships with internal and/or external customers. * Highly analytical and skilled in the use of data analytics to drive business results. * Utilizes change management methodologies to drive organizational change. * Expresses ideas effectively through sponsor presentations or less formally through written and verbal communications. * Experience with S&OP implementation and MRP implementations * Financial Acumen. * Communication Proficiency. * SAP or JDE experience required. EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor's or advanced degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in S&OP, supply chain, operations management, engineering or operations in a B2B, asset intensive, industrial or building products business. * Strong track record of success in making informed decisions, identifying and resolving operational, planning, and logistics issues in a complex manufacturing environment, and implementing strategies and taking action to optimize operational performance. * Familiar with SAP/JDE and demand management, sales forecasting, inventory replenishment, and supply chain / asset optimization software tools. * Analyzing and reporting data with familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Access and Power Point * Excellent project, team leadership, and influencing skills. * Experience in lean and other continuous improvement initiatives, including six-sigma applications.
