Job Description

The Demand Manager contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by owning the demand planning process for a PBC Business Unit. This person leads team that develops accurate and stable forecasts for all products sold by the Business Unit. Do you want to learn more about our Supply Chain Planning Manager role? Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  • As a Supply Chain Manager, you will communicate with Sales and Marketing to gain accurate and timely customer and market intelligence; influence senior Sales leaders without direct authority

  • You will analyze and resolve root cause issues to improve forecasting results

  • You will lead weekly Demand Planning calls and implement standard methodology process and technology solutions

  • You will educate the organization on demand planning needs and how demand planning improves Out of Stock and Inventory results

  • You will provide direction to Demand Planners for Business Unit-wide demand planning activities

  • We serve as first line of support for all Demand Planning and process questions

  • We work with BU leadership to ensure successful rollout of new products and package changes

  • We will share responsibility with Supply Planning to improve customer service levels in the Business Unit (reduce Out of Stocks and Inventory)

  • We build training & development plans for Demand Planning team, lead weekly team meetings & conduct 1-1 discussions

  • Role can be based out of Columbia, MD or Orlando, FL

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related field

  • Leadership and influence management skills, and ability to function effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Must be results oriented with strong execution skills. Requires knowledge of social work processes and how to get tasks accomplished across functional boundaries.

  • Validated ability to build talent, and effectively lead change.

  • 5 years Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, business or related field.

  • SAP Planning Tool Set experience preferred
