IPM Demand Management Lead

The Infrastructure & Production Management Program Execution Group consists of experienced professionals driving execution across CCB for Technology Refresh, GTI Firm wide Initiatives, Cyber security, Technology and Controls. The Demand Management Lead is accountable for the administration, process execution and oversight of the CCB Demand process across this critical portfolio. This individual will serve as a liaison into CCB Central Demand, the , the IPM Program Execution Group and each LOB-aligned Demand process to engage resources, manage allocations, resolve issues and supervise prioritization discussions and generate reporting. The Demand Management Lead will organize, direct, manage, control and execute the activities associated with project prioritization, intake, approvals, resource allocation and resource/project commitment.

The IPM Demand Management Lead partners closely with Roadmap Owners, Portfolio Leads, LOB Demand Teams, and others responsible for ensuring projects are resourced and budget is managed. Clear communication and transparent reporting are vital elements for this position. The ideal candidate excels at creative thinking and problem solving; is self-motivated, confident, organized and ready to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

As an IPM Demand Management Lead you will:

  • Manage the PPL DM process, including create DM's, manage resource impacts, manage DM readiness, drive estimation & commitment, escalate issues and concerns to the Roadmap Owners

  • Work closely with the Business, Technology and Support Partner Demand Teams to ensure full awareness of IPM PMO and Project Changes

  • Be able to work independently in a complex and decentralized environment

  • Facilitate meetings and working sessions as needed

  • Adapt and adjust processes and reporting as Central Demand processes and tools change and Agile methodology becomes wider spread across the CCB LOB

  • Represent IPM on Demand committees and communicate and train staff on changes to processes

  • Partner with IPM Roadmap Reporting team on defining Demand Management report requirements

  • Define and lead Roadmap elaboration sessions with AD partners


  • Requires project management experience

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Requires business project experience with some experience working on technology projects preferred

  • Understanding of project life cycles and project methodology

  • Experience with Agile project methodology

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Ability to follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong negotiation and risk base skillsets

  • Strong consulting and relationship building skills

  • Strong analytical, process and detail oriented skills

  • Solid issues management and resolution skills

  • Flexibility; ability to adapt and respond quickly to change

Manage credit strategies for U.S. credit cards portfolio, including designing segmentation criteria, evaluating risk vs revenue proposition, NPV valuations and the final implementation. Provide recommendations specific to managing credit risk while assessing growth, profitability, and compliance objectives of the organization. Develop, maintain, and improve business credit policies and statistical procedures. Engage in risk analysis and strategy development, including developing and optimizing strategies by utilizing scoring and segmentation analytical techniques. Coordinate program implementation including developing specifications, implementing, and monitoring program characteristics. Analyze, validate, track, and monitor delivered projects. Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or closely related quantitative discipline followed by three (3) years of experience in the position offered or as a Risk/Quantitative/Business Analyst, or closely related occupation, in the credit card industry. Full term of experience must include the following: Utilizing knowledge of credit card business and statistical modeling techniques to evaluate and develop strategies; Utilizing Knowledge Seeker/SAS Enterprise Miner to perform segmentation analysis and create predictive models for target variables; Utilizing statistical analysis and SAS, SQL programming, UNIX for data mining, manipulation, analysis, and modeling; Utilizing SAS programming, and PL/SQL to retrieve and analyze financial data for advanced statistical analysis, business forecasting, performance reporting, and decision support; Building statistical forecasting model to improve targeting accuracy and performing model revenue impact estimation; Performing analysis and reporting of actuals data and process for business/strategy development; Produce robust documentations of models to ensure results can be replicated and fulfill governance requirements; and Utilizing advanced MS-Excel and Pivot Table and MS PowerPoint to summarize analysis and present results to senior management and leadership groups. 40 hrs/wk.
