This position is responsible for leading and executing our Service Introduction process and other processes to ensure new scope for AMS is adequately defined, properly estimated, and effectively transitioned with proper formal approvals for funding. Each application that moves through the Service Introduction process will be either newly developed or will have undergone significant revisions requiring release transparency for our AMS team to be effective in our role for providing production support services. This position will engage strongly with our AMS Strategic Partners (vendors) and the associated AMS Senior Manager as well as key personnel from the HealthTech Portfolio for leadership decisions and for subject matter expert SME) support. The person filling this position will be a driving force to ensure the Service Introduction (and Service Reduction / Release Transparency) processes goes smoothly while keeping all stakeholders informed to ensure effective alignment of development demand and capacity; providing input into financial, workforce, and technical capacity planning processes. In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring processes between AMS and other stakeholders with HealthTech and HealthAnalytics are in place and properly documented.
Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree and 6 years Information Technology experience; OR Tech Certification and 8 years Information Technology experience; OR 10 years Information Technology experience.
Teamwork and collaboration skills; oral and written communications skills.
Knowledge of project planning tools e.g., MS Project.
Analysis and modeling tools e.g., Excel.
Knowledge of application development platforms.
Knowledge of cloud computing / SaaS.
Knowledge of mobile and web technologies.
Knowledge of data center platforms (servers, storage).
Knowledge of end user platforms (desktops, laptops, mobile).
Ability to work well independently with the maturity to escalate when needed.
Attention to detail with a strong ability to track and drive multiple concurrent activities while staying organized.
Confidence to initiate and facilitate meetings effectively while tracking follow-up items to ensure an optimized process. Possess ability to manage workload and manage multiple concurrent priorities.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Knowledge of SDLC Methodology - Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development.
