Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity for a high-energy professional to be part of Deloitte India practice and learn about and support global initiatives and work directly with global, regional, and member firm leaders. This position is for Sr Analyst- Procure to Pay and involves driving invoice & payments processing, employee expense management, and accounts payable closing & reporting activities, ensuring its accuracy and compliance, managing the accounts payable team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

To achieve this, you will be expected to perform the following activities:

• Accounts payable Processing:

• Timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, travel & expense claims by employees including reviews, checks, and compliances

• Manage period end closing of accounts payable ensuring accuracy of financial reports/ statements

• Develop and maintain accounts payable reports, SLA, KPIs

• Resolve queries, discrepancies with vendors and internal departments/ stakeholders

• Manage exceptions to the accounts payable process

• Vendor Management:

• Maintain vendor relationships and address their inquiries/ queries

• Collaborate with Procurement and other departments to ensure accurate information flow, and managing supplier/ vendor relationships

• Compliance and Policies:

• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards

• Stay informed about changes in regulations, accounting standards affecting accounts payable

• Internal Controls & Audit Support:

• Co-ordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations for accounts payable processes

• Strategize, oversee, and facilitate the transition of finance processes, encompassing knowledge transfer, reverse knowledge transfer, coordination with client stakeholders, and the documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Skills Required

• Qualifications:

• Graduate or Postgraduate in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Work experience in Accounts payable with global clients

• Proficient in Oracle ERP (EBS, Fusion), SAP/ S4 Hana, and ServiceNow. Knowledge of other Oracle E-Business Suite is preferable

• Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of the broader financial impact of accounts payable processes

• Strong financial accounting & reporting knowledge

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage client discussions

• Proficient in data analysis and financial reporting

• Proactive approach to process improvement and innovation in financial practices

• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
