Pepsi Beverages Company (PBC) is PepsiCo's beverage manufacturing, sales and distribution operating unit in the United States and Canada. This position will be part of the North America Beverage organization.

The Delivery Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of frontline employees to deliver orders to key customers in a fast-paced direct store delivery environment.

  • Manage a group of 15-20 delivery drivers (CDL certified)

  • Answer Field customer calls regarding deliveries and ensure 100% customer service

  • Ensure store delivery time windows are met daily

  • Work proactively with sales representatives and warehouse operations to understand the needs of the customers and sales force

  • Coach, lead and develop drivers to support the sales organization and improve daily productivity via gate-to-gate route rides twice a week, minimum

  • Maintain process improvement to further enhance productivity of deliveries

  • Ensure compliance of Department of Transportation and PBC safety standards

  • Conduct team meetings and safety training to ensure that preventive measures are enforced

  • Demonstrate strong oral, written and interpersonal skills

  • Possess very strong organizational and prioritizing skills

  • Have a highly developed sense of urgency

  • Demonstrated results in improving business performance through leadership


  • A minimum of 2 years managing frontline employees

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/ or weekends

  • Must be willing to get Class A, CDL certified

  • Must be willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • *This role could be based out of Columbia, MD or Cheverly, MD

The Clinical Nurse Leader provides for and utilizes staff appropriately, matching assignments with patient care needs and competencies; is accountable for cost effective decision-making regarding utilization of resources. (i.e., human resources, patient care environment, supplies, etc.) and day-to-day operational decision making; participates in the development of patient care standards; facilitates staff orientation and continuing education; participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of the quality improvement plan; and maintains a clinical environment that demonstrates service excellence. The Clinical Nurse Supervisor functions as a professional role model and resource person, supporting the mission of UM Capital Region Health. Responsibilities * Assesses complement of staff and the level of clinical expertise needed to provide excellence in patient care. Make assignments that reflect consideration of patient census, acuity, staff mix, staff's level of clinical competence, and unit standards taking patient assignments as deemed necessary. * Delegate's task within the team member's authorized scope of practice. * Acts as a role model and clinical resource for staff. Departmental Communication/Documentation * Maintains confidentiality of patient and staff information. Maximizes efficacy of available human resources * Recognizes needs of preceptors, orientees and students. Provides and supports appropriate experiences that promotes growth and development of all staff. Exercises stewardship in the utilization of resources * Facilitates appropriate staffing patterns and productive use of time. * Actively participates in continuing educational activities to enhance professional competence. Qualifications * Associates Nursing degree with a minimum three (3) years related Nursing experience * Demonstrated capability of assessing current acitivities or problems in a clinical setting, evaluating alternative approaches and implementing program/practices which impact the scope of the problem * Capable of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with members of the health care team * Current Maryland Registered Nurse license in good standing * Basic Life Support Certification * Working knowledge of ICD-9 (medical coding) * Basic medical terminology working experience Dimensions Health Care Cheverly MD
