Bits In Glass (BIG), is seeking a multifaceted Delivery Manager to join our team, to work with customers and be responsible for the success of the project and to deliver value to the customer.
We work with low-code, process automation and integration technologies that require a multi-functional approach to project and delivery management. A Delivery Manager will bring a tripartite skill set in Project Delivery, Business Analysis and Quality Assurance. Proven knowledge of the airline, healthcare, finance and insurance industry is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Project Delivery:
  • Manage successful end-to-end delivery of projects for our Clients. You will be expected to work in all 3 core lines of business at Bits In Glass: Appian, MuleSoft and Blue Prism.
  • Have a good grasp of the project delivery lifecycle, especially using Agile methods such as Scrum.
  • Be a champion of the Agile delivery approach and help Clients make the transition from waterfall methods to Agile, where required.
  • Lead teams of Bits In Glass consultants, partner resources, and client resources on project related tasks, ensuring delivery dates are met.
  • Work with key Client stakeholders to define business processes, integration needs, build trust, and help the Client innovate and automate their business through the use of Appian, MuleSoft and Blue Prism. Establish and maintain strong Client relationships throughout the project and beyond as a part of their overall digital transformation journey.
  • Communicate project status to Clients in a timely manner via regular and detailed reporting.
  • Mentor budding leaders and other junior team members with an interest in project delivery within Bits In Glass.
  • Contribute to the Delivery Management function at Bits In Glass by sharing methods and best practices.
Business Analysis & Enablement:
  • Elicit functional and non-functional requirements from the Client team / Product Owner and document them in the form of user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to prioritize the backlog, elicit feedback on deliverables and raise questions to them on behalf of the development team.
  • Understand the Clients system integration landscape at a high-level and the potential for interconnectivity and automation therein.
  • Drive technology adoption and enable Clients to be self-sufficient by empowering their resources.
  • Assist Clients in identifying other process automation and/or integration opportunities in which the software could provide a solution. Foster and support the Radiation (widespread use) of the technologies within the business.
Quality Assurance:
  • Work closely with the technical design and implementation teams in well-defined sprints always making sure that the delivery team stays focused on the Clients vision.
  • Perform end-to-end QA testing cycles during development sprints.
  • Present product increments during sprint demos and speak clearly to the capabilities of the product being built.

VIEW JOBS 11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-12T00:00 <strong>Position Summary:</strong><br /> In collaboration with the Director of Philanthropy, the Institutional Giving Manager is responsible for maximizing institutional giving and contributing to the overall fundraising budget and philanthropy plan of the organization. The Institutional Giving Manager is expected to realize annual fundraising goals established for the position.<br />  <br /> This position is responsible for a portfolio of foundations (including family foundations as appropriate) and corporations currently giving or capable of giving gifts. Responsibilities include creating and implementing strategy; identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding foundation and corporate donors and prospects; managing a donor portfolio; conducting donor visits; prospect tracking; proposal writing; and donor stewardship. The Trust for Public Land has strong relationships with local, regional, and national foundations that are part of this position’s portfolio. <br /> <br /> <strong>We are also open to candidates in the Twin Cities Area.</strong><br /> <br /> <strong>Essential Functions:</strong><br />  <br /> 60%     <em>Portfolio Management</em>: Identify foundation and corporate prospects. Develop effective strategies for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Maintain donor records and track progress in donor database. Conduct donor visits. Make direct solicitations and close gifts. Write proposals, case statements, and reports. Develop proposal budgets and financial reports. Coordinate and implement donor recognition. Track and meet deadlines. Monitor grant payments. Engage other staff members and volunteers in fundraising efforts. <br />  <br /> 30%     <em>Writing</em>: Provide writing and other support for the Director of Philanthropy and other philanthropy staff to include writing and developing proposals, case statements, and stewardship reports, as well as cultivation and solicitation materials, and other collateral materials as directed.<br />                          <br /> 5%       <em>Communications and Donor Relations</em>: Plan and implement regular communications to donors, including broadcast e-mail updates and mailings, and provide relevant local content for use with the organization’s annual giving program, website, social media, and other publications and collateral materials. <br />  <br /> 5%       Other duties as assigned.<br />  <br /> <strong>Qualifications</strong> <ul> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Bachelor’s degree required</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">3-5 experience in non-profit fundraising</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Experience writing grant proposals, letters, reports or similar materials</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Experience and proficiency using fundraising databases, Microsoft Office and in conducting research</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Ability to write and edit grant proposals, reports, letters of inquiry, interim reports, stewardship materials, and other collateral information </li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Ability to understand organization’s finances and financial systems; and coordinate with finance staff to develop budgets.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Self-motivated; ability to multi-task with excellent attention to detail and deadlines; and can perform successfully without regular supervision:</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Familiarity with best practices around gift acceptance policies and ethical compliance, as defined by the Association for Fundraising Professionals</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Ability to function effectively as a member of a team, ensuring close coordination and integration with other staff members</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Interest and commitment to The Trust for Public Land mission</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Knowledge of relevant foundation and corporate donors desired</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Willingness to work flexible hours</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Willingness to travel occasionally</li> </ul> The Trust For Public Land Chicago Illinois
